EV Charging

Stäubli supports North American Charging Standard with reliable contacts

We're diving into the latest buzzword in the EV charging world: NACS

The North American Charging Standard (NACS) has been designed by Tesla and proven for the last decade. With the opening of the standard in November 2022, NACS has been gaining traction in recent months as more and more car manufacturers announce their switch from CCS (Combined Charging System) to NACS for the North American market. These car manufacturers include Ford, GM, Rivian, Volvo and Polestar, with the list steadily expanding.

Stäubli is supporting the transition to NACS with our extensive know-how in electrical contacts - offering high-power contacts for charging connectors according to customer specifications.

Making use of our patented MULTILAM contact technology, Stäubli contact solutions feature unmatched electrical and mechanical properties, providing reliability and high current-carrying capacity paired with high number of mating cycles.

Let's take EV charging in North America to the next level together.
