10th anniversary in Thailand: Stäubli celebrates growing footprint in Southeast Asia

This year marks a special milestone for Stäubli in Thailand: its 10th anniversary! Over the past ten years, Stäubli has continuously expanded its presence in this key market of the Southeast Asian region and has grown into a remarkable organization with a strong local presence. To celebrate this important moment, Stäubli was joined by many special guests to reflect on its achievements and look forward to the exciting future ahead.

In his ceremonial address, Prach Nimmukda, Managing Director of Stäubli Thailand, shared some memories of this journey, which started with the establishment of the branch in 2014 with 11 employees and now comprises 21: "Standing here today is a testament to the great dedication and collaboration, as well as the learning mindset and customer focus of the entire team. Together, we have overcome challenges, seized opportunities and laid a strong foundation for further growth in Thailand and the region."

Thailand as important pillar of a strong regional Stäubli organization

Stäubli Thailand was delighted to welcome some of their colleagues from the Southeast Asian region to join in the celebrations. Roger Schnüriger, CFO of the Stäubli Group, joined the event online from Switzerland and shared a personal video message to congratulate the team on their great achievement and recognize their continuous efforts in Thailand.

Yeoh Teong Wah, Managing Director from Singapore and representative of the Stäubli Hub for Southeast Asia, said: "The success of Stäubli Thailand is an inspiration to all our local markets, and we are proud to be part of this ongoing legacy. With our newly established Stäubli Southeast Asia Hub, we are creating a strong platform that will allow us to further strengthen our customer support in the region and increasingly realize our full potential." He also emphasized the importance and prospects of this region for all four Stäubli Divisions, Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors, Robotics and Textile, driving forward key businesses crucial for Southeast Asia. This includes renewable energy, e-mobility and the general manufacturing industry for the Electrical Connectors Division; automotive parts and the plastic manufacturing industry for the Fluid Connectors Division; semiconductors, photovoltaic parts and pharmaceutical manufacturing for the Robotic Division; and jacquard, dobby and weaving preparation for the Textile Division.

Strong commitment in Southeast Asia region

Gerald Vogt, CEO of the Stäubli Group, also emphasized the strong commitment to customer service and international ties within the Stäubli family: "The 10th anniversary of Stäubli Thailand underlines our efforts to provide excellent service to our customers where they need it - locally, around the world. With our newly established Hub, we are committed to delivering outstanding solutions and exceeding expectations for decades to come, in the important Southeast Asia market and beyond".

The team expressed gratitude for their success and growth in the merit-making.
